Cosplay status, a semi-rant, and a meme.
Wig: Bought it and HG's mom trimmed it for me. ^w^
Eyebrows: Will draw on, even though everyone I tell that to is like "OMG DRAW THEM YOU CRAZY". :P
Shirt: Bought it and dyed it. Complete wrong green to my pants, but...it's the right shape? ^^;;
Gloves: I guess I'm probably going to draw the wrappings on.
Belt: Sempai made it and I broke it, but then I glued it back together. Eheh.
Pants: Bought them. The perfect color. Now if only they matched the shirt.
Holster: Sempai made it. I CAN'T MAKE IT STAY UP. T_T I'll probably end up gluing it to my pants or something.
Legwarmers: Made them with (a lot of) help from our club advisor. They came out quite well. ^_^
Shoes: Bought them on eBay. Should be here within a week.
So I think I'm doing pretty darn well there.

This is a dA rant, and I know neither of the people I'm talking about are ever going to read it. That's part of why I'm posting it, just to get it off my chest.
So there are these two artists I watch. Let's call them Musachan and Lavender-Ice, because those are their names. And sure, they have their faults, we all do. But they generally seem like good people. Then the other day Mu started insulting/attacking Lavender-Ice, seemingly out of nowhere. Not only did she insult her in her journal, but she also posted a fake picture to mock her art style.
Now I admit that I don't know the full story - but geez, what could Lavender-Ice have done to deserve this treatment? The only reasons I see Mu giving are that she does not know "basic human anatomy", that she's not good at speaking Spanish, and that she draws underage slash, which apparently makes her a pedophile herself.
I may be biased here, because the pairing (Satoshi/Shigeru) is a favorite of mine, but last time I checked, pairing preferences =/= personal preferences. Otherwise I would be straight, gay, lesbian, and attracted to my siblings all at the same time. And probably other things as well.
And even if she was a pedophile, these all seem rather personal things to attack someone over. Far as I can tell, Lavender-Ice did nothing to Mu; indeed, she asked her to leave her alone, in response to which Mu called her "boring" because she doesn't want to argue back.
Mu, usually I think you're great, I really do, but unless you have a really good reason, this was pretty darn uncalled for.

On a lighter note, meme! This is based on the "cliff game", which Raven introduced me to, with minor editing.
Give me any three characters, and I'll tell you which I'd marry, which I'd go on a date with, and which I'd push off a cliff. ^_^
