Yet another meme, because I have no life, and also apparently never update LJ anymore.

RULES: Comment and I'll LJ stalk you to find THREE FANDOMS you apparently love. And then you answer these questions about them!

01: What got you into this fandom in the first place?
02: Do you think you'll stay in this fandom or eventually move on?
03: Favorite episodes/books/movies/etc.?
04: Do you participate in this fandom (fanfiction, graphics, discussions)?
05: Do you think that more people should get into this fandom?

HG gave me Hetalia, Harry Potter, and They Might Be Giants.

Hetalia:
01: O.A. brought it to my attention last year, but I only got into it after a several-hour archive binge at the [livejournal.com profile] hetalia community in November, which I believe was a result of TV Tropes' recommendations.
02: I stay in most fandoms. However, I do think at some point the Hetalia fandom will deflate, and then I might not be so active.
03: I'm going to be everyone and say "Cleaning Out the Storage" gets me right here.
04: As with most things, I lurk. I've drawn some fanart, but comparatively little, and almost none of it's on the Web.
05: It's got plenty of people already, but more are always welcome~!

Harry Potter:
01: My second-grade teacher read the first three books to our class. I was hooked.
02: Absolutely. Harry Potter fandom is forever.
03: I'm in the minority here, but my favorite book is Order of the Phoenix. I liked Goblet of Fire too.
04: Again, I lurk. HP has some incredibly awesome fic out there. I've barely even drawn any fanart in this case. (You should see my loltastic seventh-grade character redesigns, though.)
05: I think everyone who's going to be in it is, but once again, new recruits are always great. :B

TMBG:
01: One night early last year, at about 1 in the morning, I was procrastinating from my homework, as usual. Since we were learning about Istanbul, I decided to YouTube the song "Istanbul, Not Constantinople", which my seventh-grade history teacher had played in class once. That led me to "Particle Man", whose genius I was immediately struck by. The next day, I was asking O.A. if she knew of this amazing song, and she told me that in fact, she had the CD (which turned out to be "A User's Guide to They Might Be Giants"). So I borrowed it, and, well, you know what happened. </tl;dr>
02: Certainly for a while. I don't see myself stopping liking the music anytime soon.
03: Favorite CDs? I like "The Spine". "Flood" is a classic too, and "Cast Your Pod to the Wind" grew on me. I don't really have a favorite song.
04: Lurker again. (There's surprisingly good fic.) I've done fanarts for them too, though not in a while. Um, I went to a concert of theirs Saturday - that count?
05: Absolutely. The music, at least. TMBG is apparently pretty underappreciated and this must change. If you aren't familiar with them, I encourage you to give them a listen.

And, as is traditional, I conclude with something totally irrelevant:
"In the Watchmen: The End is Nigh game, the NPC thugs taunt Nite Owl by referring to Rorschach as 'your little girlfriend.'"
HAVE I EVER MENTIONED HOW HARD I SHIP DAN/RORSCHACH YOU GUISE @_@

P.S. PLAY DISGAEA.
