IT'S BETTER THAN IT SOUNDS!

I couldn't choose, so have 22. I mean, a couple of 'em are completely accurate summaries, so. :P

1. Rich man beats up the poor, the insane, and a clown. Batman ([livejournal.com profile] hoyvinglavin64)
2. An adopted orphan sasses his teachers, runs around naked and sets fire to a cat.
3. A satire of Victorian society in which a lawyer travels to other dimensions, and is arrested for trying to start a new religion. Oh, and the women of the protagonist's homeworld can accidentally stab people by sneezing.
4. Sherlock Holmes goes on a coke binge and hallucinates until Sigmund Freud cures his addiction.
5. A group of teens trade insults over IM and play an online Alternate Reality Game.
6. A man tries to reduce noise pollution in a mountainous area. He fails. This is considered a good thing.

8. Dead people kill things and eat food in order to dress the most macho of them in the girliest clothing ever.
9. Did I mention that all but the last three are werewolves?

15. Highschool Drama centering around a Teen Genius with lost of weird fetishes, his shapeshifting alien live-in girlfriend and their magic-using friends. The plot alternates between being incredibly bizarre and surprisingly mundane.

And I wasn't going to answer the ones I saw on TV Tropes, but 22 is THE BARTIMAEUS TRILOGY YESYESYES
