ToT Tricks #1

Luckily, all the dares I've gotten do far have been very mild. :B

[livejournal.com profile] cheshirecgrin wanted me to do some origami and post pictures.

...it's a snail. Look, I didn't know any origami off the top of my head so I went with what the internet told me. :P I used to have this huge book of Pokémon origami, it was awesome. But oh well. Now I have a snail.

Also, [livejournal.com profile] cykotyks didn't specifically tell me to post this one, but I thought it was too glorious not to share.

Slowpoke in a tutu. Why? Only [livejournal.com profile] cykotyks's deranged mind knows. :P

That is the best snail.

The only thing I can do origami-wise are those square fortune-teller mouth-looking things and paper airplanes. Used to be able to make a cicada (I learned it for a math class in elementary school). I really want to learn to make more origami things.

Oh man, I can totally do cootie catchers! Wasn't sure if they counted as origami though. And I could never make successful paper airplanes. ._.;;

Yeah, all my friends are really good at origami and I'd like to learn more too. I just... don't have the patience or something. story of my life

The funny thing is, I only just learned how to do the fortune-teller things about 2 years ago. Back in elementary school I was the one to go to for paper airplanes though. Shame I seem to be having problems making them flight-worthy lately.

For me it's not lack of patience, it's that I'm a horrible perfectionist about origami and my folds, more often than not, end up not eing quite perfect enough. Ah well. Maybe some day.
