I continue to be obsessed with Baccano!, surprising no one. Tried to look for merchandise the other day, found very little (except the CD, but that costs about 40 dollars, and the DS game, but I'll need a couple more years of Japanese before I can understand it). And it was unpopular enough in Japan that there are basically no doujinshi for it. Woe. Perhaps I can commission some fanart the next con I go to or something.

(...Speaking of the next con I go to. I may possibly have a sudden urge to cosplay Graham Specter for Connecticon. And may have already located all the pieces I need online. Someone please convince me this is a bad idea. Good lord, sir, you don't even like him!)

Have also been watching more of Madoka. It's about as great as everyone says it is. Very depressing, though. Poor... well, everyone, but right now Sayaka especially. ;_;

Day 10: Favourite season.



I think you may already be able to tell this from my answers to the previous questions (as well as my frames of reference), but I am a huge Adventure and 02 fan. You really can't beat the classics. I love both of them, and I think as series they're about equally awesome, but if I had to pick one I'm more personally drawn to, it's got to be 02. You get the kids from Adventure, but they're all older and cool and being mentors to this new group of kids who have their own personality classes and meshes, and there are lots of friendships being forged and also all the new ways of evolution and stuff and, I don't know, it's like it took the stuff I loved about Adventure and made it 20% cooler. ;_; So yes, it's 02. I also love Adventure too though and I think it may objectively be a better series, so do not take this as, like, 02 is the be all and end all of my adoration. ._.;;

I'm surprised it's not as popular - Baccano! is one series a friend of mine is always trying to get me to watch it (and I really should because I hear it's amazing).

I know! For whatever reason it just didn't go over too well in Japan. :( At least Western fans seem to recognize its greatness for the most part (the amazing dub probably helps). And yes, you definitely should watch it! It's pretty short (16 episodes), if that's any incentive, and it is one of the best animes ever. *_* (Plus, you will understand my ramblings afterward~!)

Madokaaaaaa. ;_; I'm up through episode 7 right now. I understand it only gets sadder. D:

And dude, Matt was a hottie. Although as I've gotten back into the series I find myself more and more drawn to 02 Joe. Same old nerd, beautiful new hair. *_*

Sayakaaa ;_; All the stuff she went through just broke my heart. T_T Apparently a lot of people dislike her, but she actually ended up being my favorite. I'm not entirely sure why, but I just ended up feeling drawn to her. :P How many episodes have you seen so far?
