The thing about Degrassi is that it's Canadian. Which is excellent, but the accent can throw you off. When they're in the middle of a dramatic scene and someone goes "You don't know what you're talking aboot" or "I'm soarry", you have to pause and go "oh they're Canadian lol" and then get back into the scene. No, but seriously, Degrassi is a great show and I totally have a crush on Rick. :\

4. Friendships in the new year? - Nena: 99 Luftballons (None, everyone will be killed by World War III.)

5. Love in the new year? - RENT: Life Support (No day but today to find out! :D)

6. High of the new year? - Barenaked Ladies: Everything Had Changed (Everything changing doesn't exactly strike me as a high.)

7. Low of the new year? - Dar Williams: Are You Out There (My favorite radio station going off the air? No, that awesome station that plays all that kids' music, come back!)

8. Spring prediction? - Yoko Ishida: I Can't Tell You (*runs off to get translated lyrics* I'm still not sure what it's saying, but it seems to be about meeting some kind of dude and feeling happy. So let's go with that.)

Okay, the scanlations aren't up yet, but from what I can gather Szayel is not dead yet [insert obligatory Monty Python reference]. Instead, Mayuri's taken him back with him...to do research. Now, I don't know about you, but for me, this is INFINITELY preferable to the dead version. Especially if you put quote marks around "research". Yeah, you know it. *waves Szayuri flag* Of course, I've gotta reserve some judgement till I read it in English, but still. *happy* :D

EDIT: The scanlation doesn't say anything about research. D: I'm still choosing to believe that's the case, though. ^_^

I don't know... If he's alright, I doubt he'd still show his face here. But anything that gives me license to mention him without getting you depressed is a good thing. And mad scientists do get Rule 34'd rather easily. Still, it looks like attention has moved to the something-more-than-skeletons in his closet.

And now for something completely different... Since I don't feel like ranting about my week anymore, maybe I should do this meme. Even though most of my music is on the other computer... I can grab my iPod from upstairs!

And yes, that station needs to stay on the air! (Forgot to mention this last time) Or at least the weekend programs! Come to think of it, I don't actually know what they do on weekdays. But show tunes, a cappella, and kids' music all need to stay!
