Why is it that whenever I see a summary for Bleach, it goes like, "Ichigo was a normal kid who could see ghosts until one day he met a Soul Reaper named Rukia and got her powers. Now he has to help send ghosts to the afterlife" or whatever? They make it sound like Yu Yu Hakusho, and Yu Yu Hakusho only did that for so long anyway. I think Bleach was like that for all of...mayyybe fifteen episodes? Why don't summaries read, "Ichigo was a normal kid yadda yadda yadda and he went to the Soul Society and Rukia almost died and a hot guy turned evil and less hot. Now Ichigo and his alive friends and his dead friends have to fight hot villains who are trying to whatever it is they want to do"? Well, maybe not quite in those words, but still.
Vethie's Super-Special-Awesome-Guaranteed-Never-Fail Capture the Flag Strategy*
*Disclaimer: strategy may fail. Strategy only usually works once on the same other team. Also, do not read if you are ever planning to play Vethie in Capture the Flag. Otherwise, she will have to come up with a new strategy.
For best results, attempt strategy when there are several of your people in jail.
1. Choose a spot on the center line. Preferably, it should be a spot that no one is looking at too closely, although this has been known to work when the spot is in plain view of several people.
2. Walk to the spot and casually stroll over. Do not run. If you have done this right, the other team will think you have been sent to jail.
3. Do not break pace. Keep walking at a normal speed in a straight line towards the jail. Keep your eyes on the jail; do not look around to see if anyone is following you. (You may permit yourself one quick look up and smirk, as long as it's quick.)
3a. If by chance someone is following you and captures your flag before you reach the jail, do not act as though this bothers you. Just shrug and keep walking toward the jail, only this time actually go in jail. You'll get another chance.
4. When you reach the jail, if no one seems to suspect you, you may ask, "Is this the jail"? When they reply "Yes", tag it and jail-free everyone. If you're in a hurry, just jail-free everyone.
4a. 3a also applies if the people guarding the jail capture your flag before you can jail-free the others.
5. Don't worry about getting your flag captured after you free the others. You've done your job.
If done right, this strategy should leave you with a feeling of great satisfaction. :D
