So this thread over on ffrantsanon is making me feel really guilty about referring to Grell as a guy.

I think for me it probably boils down to that I am biased and like thinking of him (her?) as a guy better and also I am used to it. But I'm not sure why everyone else in the fandom does it. Like, is there a good reason we're not calling Grell by female pronouns? :\ *so conflicted*

I use male pronouns with Grell for the sake of people who aren't familiar with him or the series. He's biologically male, but if I use female pronouns people would assume biologically female.

When writing from his perspective I use female pronouns.
