So this thread over on
ffrantsanon is making me feel really guilty about referring to Grell as a guy.
I think for me it probably boils down to that I am biased and like thinking of him (her?) as a guy better and also I am used to it. But I'm not sure why everyone else in the fandom does it. Like, is there a good reason we're not calling Grell by female pronouns? :\ *so conflicted*

Yes, I am this far behind on my flist.
You don't need to feel guilty, but using female pronouns for our favorite chainsaw-wielding fail!butler might be easier to get used to than you think. (Don't we always joke about being lesbians anyway?)
Also, this isn't quite relevant, but have an article about gender-neutral pronouns 'cause it's cool.

I was really big into gender-neutral pronouns a few years ago but they just got too confusing. :P So now I just use the singular "they". It has the added bonus of annoying people who think people should not use the singular "they". :D
