I mean, "boneyard sorceror"? Seriously?

Okay guise, dilemma time.

So for my English project I was thinking of incorporating a clip of Shaman King. I'd be presenting this to the class. Now should I use:
  • the Japanese version, which has subtitles that people might not be able to read?
    or
  • the English version, which is a piece of crap?
Opinions plz. :(

I'm thinking of clips for mine, too...

Just for whatever image you might have... It might be a good idea not to have a clip with something like "boneyard sorceror" when the original term probably actually sounded kinda cool. ("Doom Blast" née Cero particularly bothers me in that respect. Of course, that's probably because IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE IN ANOTHER LANGUAGE IN THE FIRST PLACE.)

If you can find a version with legible subtitles, you could justify it as showing how a culture completely different from our own interprets this theme... or something. (What's your topic anyway?)

As for my project... I think I'll try to find a relevant clip from an anime whose dub doesn't suck too badly, like Bleach or Furuba (because they have complicated examples of Sibling Rivalry, which is my topic.)

The original term is "necromancer". -_-;; Perfectly decent English word, and if they're trying to tone down on the whole death/occult stuff... in a show where people fight while possessed by ghosts? UR DOIN IT RONG. (Btw, topic's Faust. FAUST VIII, baby.)

I would use a good dub if I had one, trust me. -_-;; Even the Naruto episode I want to use hasn't been dubbed yet, so... that's some problems right there. Also, sibling rivalry is the best topic I ever heard.
