I know I haven't been posting in forever. I'm sorry. It's like I don't even know what to say anymore. I haven't been doing much fandom stuff at all (except reading Shakespeare :B), so the only thing I can really talk about is my life. And my life right now is college. So you get to hear about college.
College is... okay. It is hard being away from home and I miss people pretty badly. I have made two friends, one of whom is my roommate, although there are some people I'm also getting better acquainted with, but who knows.
I am taking Japanese II, which I though I would be pretty okay at, and I've got a decent grasp on reading and writing. But I've gotten myself into this loop where I completely freak out when it comes to speaking. Which means I looked like an idiot during my oral presentation today. I couldn't even answer the simple questions people asked at the end. And then I broke down, of course. I don't know what I'm going to do if it turns out I'm bad at Japanese. This is honestly the only thing I'm good at. On the bright side, now I get what Kurt Cobain meant when he sang "I'm worst at what I do best." So... there's that. :\
My other classes are less depression-inducing. My favorite is the one about adaptations of Shakespeare for children. I love Shakespeare and I love things I'm way too old for, so this is basically the perfect class for me. :D During our last class we watched parts of a couple movie versions of Midsummer. My notes from that consist of a half-finished drawing of Helena and the words "DEMETRIUS IS A CLOSETED HOMOSEXUAL".Come on, he totally is. Also as an extra-credit project, we get to make our own Shakespeare adaptations. I am doing a Midsummer high school AU, and I'm actually really inspired. So this has gotten me writing. Like, consistently. Which is very rare and kind of cool for me. :)
Oh, also I read the next four books of Scott Pilgrim. They are very different from the movie. Very different. I really don't know which one I like better. The books have more fleshed-out characters and super adorable art style, but the movie has a more concise plot and a Scott who is not a total jerk. So I am maybe leaning toward the movie there. Still love the art style though. 5/6 BOOKS COMPLETED

If i knew the answer to the first part, senior year would suck exponentially less. Passion is history, hands down.
07. What's your worst recurring nightmare/biggest fear?
Oh~! What can you do with a history major? What can you do with a history major? What can you do with a history major that doesn't involve teaching! That and the fear that anything I'm good at wont equal a useful degree and I end up dropping out of college for trade school.
08. Faith, has you any? And if so, what, and if not, why not?:
Jewish and fairly so. Torah decent, Talmud good even if I don't agree all the time. Halacha is both good and bad, depending on the situation. Lord did something to create this world, but considering said being is well, not exactly human and prone to not understanding human time scales (see: story of birth of Issac), I don't buy Genesis 100%. That and the mental image of a divine detiy cooing over a mass of cells is awesome.

Clothes shopping. I don't always want to go, but when I do, I don't want to stop. Just wish I looked the part though.

Sometimes I wonder if someone stuck an Information sign to the back of my shirt; I attract people asking for directions, especially on the T, constantly.
