Hey guys. I know I've been dropping the ball on 100 things posting for the past few weeks, and I wanted to apologize to anyone who's been waiting eagerly for the next one (read: no one). Work's been eating my life, both my actual job and helping my dad move his stuff to his new office, and it's been creeping over onto the weekends, so I haven't had too much break time either. The bottom line is that I have been pretty burnt out and not really feeling like making posts. :( I'll hopefully get back to 100 thingsing in the next few days (maybe even tonight!), but to make up for it somewhat I'm going to talk about some miscellaneous things that I'd normally be posting about in the first place. :B

- I know this has been covered over and over in every corner of the internet, but the Korra finale was a thing that happened. And, well. It really was a hot mess. ( A couple spoilery gripes. ) Does anyone know where I can find fic of those two (preferably involving erotically applied bloodbending), btw? With each other or teaming up on a third party, either is good. :B

- Okay enough about Korra, let's talk about another cartoon show I've been watching! I've been watching Bleach ever since Toonami came back, and holy wow do I love the zanpakutou arc. I missed most of the part where the actual plot happens, but the episodes afterward with the Soul Reapers and their zanpakutous just hanging out have been the cutest things. I especially cannot express my love for Zabimaru's episode, and for Snake in particular. I would watch Bleach so hard if it were just the Snake and Karin show. why do I ship a pairing from a filler episode this hard idk no regrets. ♥

- I've also been watching some other shows on Toonami but those are topics for another post I think. :B

- Okay now it is time for the big exciting part of the post! First, some background: soltian, who is an amazing person and artist, has been having some financial trouble lately, so I went to her store to see if I could buy anything to help her out. It was at about this point that I noticed she was selling CUSTOM DAKIMAKURA CASES. *____* So. I bought one. And now I am just waiting for her to begin working on it and I am so excited hjbvhbsjsfhbjfhj you don't even know. Especially after she posted the Thor and Loki dakimakuras she just finished. *_______* It looks like she just got some new ones in stock, so if you want anything from custom dakimakura cases to prints for $7, you should definitely check her store out! I know she'd appreciate it. :D (And no, I'm not telling you who the case I commissioned is of yet. I'm saving that one till I can show you the final product. c:)

- And finally, I know it's a little late, but happy Fourth of July, Americans on my flist! :D

So. Yes. I do exist.

I know I disappeared forever - it's been over three months, my god - and I apologize. A lot of stuff was going on in my life. First the school year started, then my grandmother died, then my computer broke, and between those three things I was not in a good place for a while. And then once my computer became fixed, Firefox did not work. I only just got around to reinstalling it, only to find that while it remembers my tabs from last session and my login info, all of my bookmarks are gone. That is a pretty big deal to me, so I'm sad again right now and stuff.

Anyway, this post is just to announce that I am back, and also to ask if anyone knows a way that missing bookmarks might be restored (doubtful, but it never hurts to ask). Also, what's been going on with you guys? I'd been checking my friends page while I was gone, but without logging in I could not see any friends-only posts, so I probably missed about half of you. Let me know what is going on with your lives! c:

So in an awesome stroke of coincidence, my Graham wig and coveralls both arrived yesterday! This is especially awesome because the wig was being shipped from Hong Kong and wasn't scheduled to get here until tomorrow at the earliest (and the Wednesday after the con at the latest). Now I'm really glad I didn't pay for that expedited shipping. :P So now all I have to do is finish the wrench, pin the coveralls (which are way too big), and find some boots. And Connecticon is only 10 days from now! I'm excited. :D

Also, Wandering Son has supposedly finally shipped! Which... is a pretty big deal, considering I'd been waiting for it for almost six months. :| Of course, I can't celebrate just yet, seeing as I was an idiot and accidentally had it shipped to my school address instead of my home one. Luckily, I can pick it up when we're in the area this summer, but still, that was pretty dumb. Even for me. (In my defense, would you have expected it to actually ship before the end of the summer?)

On another note, Genkaku Picasso is an amazing manga. I've just finished the series (only 3 volumes!) and oh man, so good. In one chapter a yaoi fangirl learns that it's totally okay to be a yaoi fangirl, as long as you don't let your fantasies get in the way of your real life (and ( spoilers for the chapter )). More significantly, in another chapter there's a trans character who is judged at first, but once her classmates learn about her situation, they're totally okay with her and don't have a problem referring to her by her preferred name and gender from then on. Maybe that's on the unrealistic side, but it's always nice to see nuanced trans characters in Japanese media, and also it's really sweet. Heck, the whole series is sweet like that; it's one of those heartwarming weird-outsider-kid-ends-up-gathering-a-bunch-of-friends-who-accept-and-like-them affairs that I'm a sucker for (see: Kimi ni Todoke, 7 Billion Needles). Heartwarming wrapped up in occasional disturbing, true, but with Usamaru Furuya, really, what can you expect. :P BASICALLY YOU GUYS SHOULD READ IT okay.

I've also been playing a lot of Sims 3 lately - or at least trying to, since it turns my computer into a slow piece of crap half the time. Finally started a legacy, which is something I've been wanting to do since forever. At some point I'll have to install a mod so I can get more than 8 people in the house, which... I have no idea how to do and am somewhat worried about. @_@ But my founder and his girlfriend only just got married, so I figure there's time yet.

Now I'm going to knock out a couple days on this meme, since at the rate I've been posting I'll be lucky to finish this before school starts again. x_x No picspams today, sorry, considering the nature of the questions.

Oh, also I have a job interview on Thursday, which is pretty cool. I doubt I'll get in, but I will try~!

I was going to say "look at me posting all early and crap" but then I realized that just because I just woke up doesn't necessarily mean it's early. :3c So uh, I'm going to try to not be online too much today so I can focus on studying. Knowing me, this is probably not going to work all that well, but we'll see. ughhh how am i going to write three essays in five days uggghhhhhhh

Also, my Firefox has been crashing every time I try to print my email, does anyone know what's up with that? It's really inconvenient. :| Luckily Safari works fine, but if anyone has any advice it would come in helpful.

I was going to post this before midnight but oh well.

The play went so awesome. Okay, so I entered too early one time and some stuff took too long and some lines got messed up (including the last line :P) but who cares? No one noticed. The cast was amazing and people laughed at the appropriate times and apparently one person told us they never realized R&J has so many jokes in it before, which is, y'know, a serious compliment. Anyway, the point is I had so much fun and I cannot wait to do it again tomorrow now that we actually know what we are doing. And it seems like we even have a reasonable chance of doing another play next year. ^___^

Made a human!Fluttershy account earlier today: sharingkindness. I doubt I'm going to ever use it for anything - mostly just wanted to take the username before someone else did - but if I ever were going to be good at RPing a character, it would probably be her. :|a So who knows. I've still got a ways to go before I'm caught up on the series anyway. Maybe someday.

Also I know most of my lines for the play now, so that is a good thing. :B

First of all, that earthquake/tsunami in Japan, oh geez. I know I promote aid auction communities all the time, but please check out help_japan. You can get some art/fic/icons/baked goods/etc., and Japan can get some help. x_x

I did end up catching some more males eventually, but Zeb is the only one other than Seymour on my team right now. The rest are all girls, even Tim Burton. Planning to switch her out for my Scraggy after this gym, though. I love Timmy, but her evolutions are ugly as sin, and come on, pantslizard.

Also had been using Kendra, my Whirlipede, up until recently, but she just didn't add anything to the team in terms of attacks or typing, so I went and replaced her with Sandra because electric gym. I feel bad, but you do what you have to do.

Also realized the problem with being all excited about a certain grass Pokémon... and having a grass starter. x_x I really want to raise a Whimsicott, but I dislike repeating types, and I never box my starter. Maybe after the Elite Four. ;_;

Saw two awesome movies in the past few days. The first was Summer Wars, which was amazing and touching (I actually cried, which... doesn't happen often). Despite what people say, it really isn't all that similar to Our War Game, apart from the ideas of a rogue AI and impending missiles. It came off as more of a homage than anything. I'm actually planning to get the DVD (and I don't own many DVDs either), if only to see how the dub came out. In conclusion, watch this movie. :B

The second was Atlantis: The Lost Empire, which I've been meaning to watch for forever. It turned out to be another one of those that I should have seen back when it came out, because I found myself being very fond of it. The characters! ♥ I found I could ignore the plot holes, but I did come out thinking that it should have been longer for the sake of character development. If we got to see more of the characters' interactions and growing friendships, I think it would have been a lot more powerful. And Milo should have totally gotten with Audrey. (Also, yeah, huge crush on Milo. He's not the trope picture for Adorkable for nothing. A socially awkward linguist with the voice of Marty McFly, come on, that's not fair.)

And then you wonder how you could have missed all that seemingly pretty standard information, but somehow you feel too ashamed to ask for clarification because it seems like info you should already know? It happens to all of us sometimes.

The art's really cute and tipping is completely optional - and despite the fact that most people request animals, he draws humans just fine too. So, last post has a happy ending! I emailed my teacher, and she let me use her computer yesterday afternoon. Her Garage Band turned out to hate me too, but she turned out to have the old version of iMovie, so with the help of that, a handheld recording device, and a lot of staying up late last night, I finished the project! :D Presented it in class this morning, and people seemed to like it. I ended up being actually pretty darn proud of it myself. So. :D

(Also, the speaker seems to have righted itself somehow, at least well enough that I'm not complaining. :B)

ALSO I got the grade back for that oral I posted about a couple weeks ago. Turns out I got a 100. o_O I didn't even think one could get a 100 on an oral. But first time for everything, I guess. :D

Right now despite these successes I am still kind of sad because my favorite class with my favorite teacher ended today. :( To take my mind off it, and to celebrate finally uploading all my CDs (I've been procrastinating since September), I am going to do this meme that I stole from fujicori. Let's see how many of the 194 new songs are on it. :D

Okay, my current massive amount of homework is out of the way. Mostly. I still have a Japanese oral tomorrow but I am not thinking about that. D: The homework would probably not have been so bad if I had not been staying up late wasting my time on the internet instead of just doing it, but apparently that is how I roll.

Man, I hate how I roll.

Um. On a happier note, I'm still on a huge Sondheim kick from reading his book/watching the birthday concert last week (also amazing, btw). I've been checking out some of his plays that I didn't know previously, currently Pacific Overtures because it is educational and has some very catchy music. Also, Sab Shimono (Uncle from JCA) was in the OBC! :D He's the one in the striped shirt. (The whole thing's on YouTube, but I haven't had the time to sit down and watch it. Also it is not that great quality.)

By far my favorite song is this one. It is practically begging for a Hetalia AMV but there are a lot of reasons why that would not happen, not least being the Netherlands has like no screen time. So I'll probably just draw a picture for it or something.

Will post some memes or something next time. Maybe work on the ones I still owe. Sorry, again.
