So now I will talk about manga.

Seven Days volume 1 came in the mail yesterday. I ordered it back in August, on the recommendation of... someone on f!s, I think. That is basically where I get all my stuff to read. ._. Anyway, I wasn't disappointed. It's a shounen-ai with a sweet story, realistic characters and an incredibly cute art style. Nothing earth-shattering, but cute. I pass along the recommendation.

Now, of course, I need something else to wait for. So I ordered the first volume of Futaba-kun Change after reading a few chapters online. I'm now seven volumes in and really liking this manga. Yes, it's a gender-bender with kind of an ecchi premise (guy turns into a girl when he's aroused), but it's really not as bad as it sounds. It ends up being more of a character-driven comedy. What I'm trying to say is, if I wasn't put off by it, you probably won't be either. :P And it's cute. The whole thing's online here if you want to check it out. (Warning: a fair bit of toplessness.)

Also rereading Saint Young Men again, because, well, it's Saint Young Men. I just wish more of it would hurry up and get translated. D: If any of you haven't read/don't know of it: Jesus. Buddha. Roommates. If that's not enough to get you to read, it's also really funny. I've read it twice before and it still makes me laugh. I'd be remiss not to provide a link I guess.

Wow, all my posts talking about things I read turn into rec posts, don't they. Anyway, to close on a different note, Hourou Musuko's English release date got pushed back two more months. Why am I not surprised. =_=;; The current prospective release is in April, but don't get too attached to that one either. I just wish I knew what was the reason for all the delay. I WANT MY WANDERING SON DANG IT.

You know, I was totally okay with being Ace Attorney monogamous. I had one crush in the series and I was fine with that. But that was before I started Investigations, by which I mean started watching over O.A.'s shoulder while she plays Investigations. And, well. Just. Stupid sexy Lance with his handcuffs and his dramatic wind. Craaap. :|
(It's okay, Jake. You're still the only cowboy detective for me. ♥)

Also. You know how the first time I saw fanart of Rip Van Winkle from Hellsing I thought she was a dude? A feminine dude with pointy teeth and glasses who maybe reminded me of someone? (Also, freckles. :D)
Well. So it turns out someone ships it. Yeah, I'm not going to link the picture because possibly NSFW, but there is definitely Rip/Grell fanart out there. And now I kinda ship it too maybe a little. Grell's soulmate will always be Szayel, though. :B

Don't you hate it when you're rereading fanfics you used to like years ago, and it turns out they're filled with gratuitous fangirl Japanese? Yeah, me too.

Almost directly related, in my youth I had a crush on Vegeta for a time, and afterwards I could never remember what it was I saw in him. Well, I just figured it out: Chris Sabat's voice. Seriously, compare. 1999 version (which, yes, is Chris Sabat, but imitating Brian Drummond)? Thoroughly unattractive, actually kinda freaky. 2007 version? INSTANT HOTNESS *_*. *goes off to watch more DBZ*

Also, another hot guy topic (look at me actually connecting my random stuff, whee). Serious question here: why does everyone hate Szayel so much? ( This cut contains SPHFWLKaiB-related whining. )

To wrap up: here, have another Phoenix Wright: The Musical song. It's been stuck in my head recently and I love Cody's singing.

I beat TWEWY (the first playthrough, anyway). Just throwing that out there. Also everyone should get that game. It's good and awesome. Maybe a little short, but good and awesome.

(also ffff the soundtrack is on iTunes? Must acquire 10 dollars... *flat broke*)

O.A., Usa-chan, and I have decided that Phoenix Wright got his name the same way Fenchurch from Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy did hers. Also, Mr. Kimura from Azumanga Daioh is Phoenix's dad. ...Or something. (O.A., you can make your objections here.)

Any Star Wars and/or Avenue Q fans may want to watch this video, set to "Everyone's A Little Bit Racist"; it is almost the perfect-est video ever. Warnings: racism (which oughtta go without saying) and one instance of profanity. And, in the video, a very odd couple. XD

And a plea: Does anyone still have their old Pokémon "2BA Master" CD? I've discovered that mine's got a big scratch right down the end of track 3 and the beginning of track 4, so I was wondering if I could copy those off someone else's CD. Thanks. ^_^
